The Care Management Support Assistant 1 contributes to administration of care management. Provides non-clinical support to the assessment and evaluation of members' needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain optimal wellness state by guiding members/families toward and facilitate interaction with resources appropriate for the care and wellbeing of members. The Care Management Support Assistant 1 performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments.

We are looking for a personable, organized, and caring individual to work as a Care Management Support Assistant! We need a dedicated and thoughtful person to provide excellent customer service over the phone to our members, ensuring they have all the information they need to make decisions around utilizing managed care services. This role has defined parameters around quality standards, work expectations, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year health administrative experience such as customer, billing, claims, or other health related profession.

  • Minimum 2 years professional experience using the Microsoft Office technical experience with Word, Outlook, and Excel

  • Demonstrated excellent customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree

  • Demonstrated excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Familiarity with care and well-being resources

  • Microsoft Access proficiency

Additional Information

  • Workstyle: This is a remote position

  • Work Location: Remote within the state of Kentucky or in a county bordering Kentucky in one of the contiguous states

  • Typical Schedule: Must be able to work Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm EST, schedule to be discussed with leader.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
