What Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation & Operations Support Specialist contributes to Cardinal Health

Reporting to the Director of Specialty Pharmacy Operations, the Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation & Operations Support Specialist is responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service hospital, health system, community, and clinic-owned specialty pharmacies.

The Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation & Operations Support Specialist manages assigned projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget results while maintaining effective internal and external relationships. This role supports specialty pharmacy accreditations (URAC and ACHC), ongoing compliance, and operations, including project management, payor and drug access support, and sales.

What is expected of you and others at this level

  • Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects

  • Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals

  • Recommends new practices, processes, metrics, or models

  • Works on, or may lead, complex projects of large scope

  • Independently determines method for completion of new projects

  • Receives guidance on overall project objectives

  • Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of specialty pharmacy experience and accreditation support (URAC, ACHC) preferred.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% and work a flexible schedule across multiple time zones.

  • Strong knowledge of specialty pharmacy operations, including infusion and 340B experience.

  • Project management experience and interpersonal/customer service skills preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy information systems required.

Anticipated salary range: $119,800- $171,100
