About This Role

We’re seeking a Senior Recruiting Coordinator to join our corporate Talent Acquisition team. In this fully remote role, your main focus is to source and recruit top-tier Sales and Customer Experience talent while also supporting other recruitment initiatives aimed at fueling Barkbus’s ambitious growth. You’ll own the candidate experience end-to-end—covering sourcing, scheduling, screening, and hiring—while maintaining data integrity in our ATS and collaborating with hiring managers to continually identify and attract top-tier talent.

Location & Schedule:

  • This position is based in the Philippines, supporting U.S.-based recruiting needs.

  • Working Hours: We typically require at least 4 hours of overlap with U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) for interviews, team collaboration, and live communication (additional flexibility may be required during busy hiring periods). For reference, this translates to a time window of 4 PM to 12 AM Philippines Time (PHT) or 4 AM to 12 PM EST.

Role & Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Support

  • Post job openings, screen resumes, conduct initial phone/video interviews, coordinate interview schedules, and maintain a robust candidate pipeline for corporate roles (primarily Sales and Customer Experience).

Candidate Sourcing

  • Proactively source and engage top talent using LinkedIn Recruiter—leveraging Boolean search, advanced filtering, project-building features—and other platforms (e.g., Indeed).

  • Identify passive candidates and creatively expand our talent pool through professional networks and referrals.

Candidate Experience

  • Serve as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, anticipating needs, resolving issues quickly, and partnering with the People Team to ensure a stellar experience.

  • Provide timely updates and maintain clear communication, ensuring strong employer branding at every touchpoint.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner closely with hiring managers and team leads to refine job requirements, gather interview feedback, and optimize the hiring process.

  • Offer insights on market trends or candidate expectations to shape recruitment strategies.

Data Integrity

  • Maintain impeccable ATS hygiene using Ashby (or something similar), and document all candidate interactions promptly.

Project Work & Process Improvement

  • Lead or contribute to special projects (e.g., implementing new recruitment tools, refining interview scripts, enhancing employer branding campaigns) to scale and optimize our Talent Acquisition function.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ Years of Professional Experience: Ideally in a high-volume, US-focused recruitment setting.

  • Talent Acquisition Expertise: Demonstrated ability to source, schedule, and hire a skilled workforce. 

  • Sourcing Skills: Comfortable generating passive and active candidates from multiple channels.

  • ATS Proficiency: Experience using Ashby or a similar (ATS) applicant tracking system to ensure data integrity and smooth workflows.

  • Excellent Communication: Able to tailor clear, concise messages to a variety of audiences; total fluency in English (written and spoken).

  • Tech Requirements: Reliable internet and electricity, plus a well-functioning computer and headset.

  • Location: Based in the Philippines, supporting our US-based recruiting needs.

  • Pet Enthusiast: Excited to learn about the pet industry—must love dogs!

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $8-$10, based on experience.
