Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary of $192,800.00 - $321,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
The Senior Principal Portfolio Lead will serve as a vital leader within Cox Enterprises’ Enterprise Architecture team. This role is responsible for defining and driving architecture strategies across multiple business domains, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and fostering innovation. This individual will leverage their expertise in enterprise-scale architecture and cross-domain solutions to deliver transformative outcomes. The Senior Principal Portfolio Lead will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure solutions are strategic, scalable, and sustainable.
Guide, coach, and mentor emerging architecture team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational goals.
Strategic Partnership & Alignment
Technical Expertise & Delivery
Provide thought leadership in areas such as enterprise integration, data management, ERP systems, and cloud platforms.
Leverage modern architectural patterns, including microservices, APIs, and hybrid cloud, to modernize legacy systems and reduce technical debt.
Ensure architectural designs support operational excellence, including scalability, performance, security, and compliance.
Innovation & Thought Leadership
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Engage with other architecture domains, including data, security, and infrastructure, to ensure holistic solutions.
In addition to general responsibilities, this role will focus on the Finance and Supply Chain business areas. The Senior Principal Portfolio Lead will play a critical role in defining architecture strategies and solutions that enable transformation and operational excellence in these domains. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline and 12 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as master's degree and 10 years' experience; a Ph.D and 7 years' experience in a related field; or 24 years' experience in a related field.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience with modern enterprise solutions (for Principal roles, a minimum of 10 years is expected), including ERP systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle Cloud, SAP), cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP), and integration technologies.
Leadership & Communication
Certifications in Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF) or cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
