Job description

The E.W. Scripps Company is seeking an Analyst, Inventory and Estimates.  This role is responsible for tracking station programming to populate Wide Orbit Media Sales (WOMS) inventory and develop audience estimates.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Enter and maintain current rating, estimates and programming information in the Wide Orbit Media Sales (WOMS) avail system so sales can build accurate audience estimates for clients.

  • Review past data and current parameters to establish audience estimates.

  • Populate station schedules into media audience rating systems and Titan TV systems (feeds Comscore).

  • Collaborate with insight analysts and key sales stakeholders regarding audience estimates.

  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience

  • Experience with Wide Orbit Media Sales preferred.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Personal computer skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word required

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data from a variety of sources, strong multi-tasking skills

  • Experience with Wide Orbit, Matrix Plus or One Domain data systems preferred.

  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal presentation skills

  • Must be well-organized, self-starter and detailed oriented. Must be a team player, working collaboratively in a team environment, while supporting multiple stations within region of responsibility
