PACS Analyst

This is a remote position.

Superlanet is seeking a skilled PACS Analyst with hands-on experience working with the Visage PACS system to support our Southern California healthcare client. This is a fully remote contract role, offering the opportunity to work with cutting-edge imaging technology and support a leading healthcare organization. The PACS Analyst will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and related imaging applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and maintain the Visage PACS system to ensure reliability and optimal performance.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve PACS-related issues, coordinating with vendors, IT teams, and clinical staff to address operational needs and system performance.
  
• Support integrations with other systems, including RIS (Radiology Information System), EMR/EHR, and modality devices.
  
• Collaborate with radiology and clinical teams to assess workflow requirements and recommend improvements.
  
• Perform regular system updates, backups, and routine maintenance to ensure data integrity and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  
• Provide training and support to clinical staff, radiologists, and other stakeholders on PACS functionality and workflows.
  
• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and issue resolutions.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience as a PACS Analyst or in a similar role within a healthcare environment.
  
• Visage PACS Expertise: Proven experience with Visage PACS system, including configuration, maintenance, and support.
  
• Healthcare IT Knowledge: Understanding of medical imaging workflows and integration with healthcare systems (e.g., RIS, EMR/EHR).
  
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with DICOM, HL7, and other imaging standards and protocols.
