About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Presales to lead and oversee our global team of solutions advisors and engineers to deliver exceptional customer service and drive the adoption of company products and services. In this role, you'll use your leadership experience to manage day-to-day team operations, develop strategies to achieve organizational goals and foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration. You will serve as a key liaison between our clients, sales, and product teams to ensure alignment with revenue goals and overall satisfaction of subject matter expertise support. 

The preferred location for this role is near our Bethesda, MD office, but we are also open to candidates located within the Eastern time zone in the US.

What You'll Do
  • Team Leadership and Management: 
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a global team of Solutions Advisors to achieve performance goals. 
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide actionable feedback. 
  • Foster a collaborative and motivating team environment.

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: 
  • Develop strategies and implement tools and tactics to meet revenue targets. 
  • Analyze customer feedback to identify trends and inform business decisions. 
  • Align team activities with broader organizational objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Client Engagement and Support: 
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex client issues and ensure resolution. 
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and coach the team to provide tailored solutions. 
  • Coordinate with sales and product teams to communicate client insights and priorities. 
  • Support engagement personally for highly strategic clients.

  • Operational Oversight: 
  • Manage team workflows to ensure efficient and timely delivery of services. 
  • Monitor and report on team performance metrics and SLAs. 
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

  • Collaboration and Communication: 
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for product improvements to drive revenue. 
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing across teams to drive innovation and best practices. 
  • Represent the Solutions Advisor team in organizational meetings and initiatives.

  • What Makes You A Great Fit
  • Required: 
  • At least five (5) years of managerial experience successfully leading customer-facing teams such as sales, solutions advisory, pre-sales, or similar functions.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth
  • Demonstrated ability to guide teams toward achieving strategic goals, fostering collaboration, and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to work effectively in a global, cross-functional, and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for internal and external meetings. 

  • Strong Pluses:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field 
  • Experience leading or managing a sales or solutions team in the EHS or SaaS spaces
  • Experience leading a globally distributed team
  • Pay Transparency:
    The anticipated salary range for this position is $130,000 - $140,000 per year. The final offer will depend on several factors, including the successful candidate’s skills, depth of work experience, location, and relevant licenses/ qualifications. Each offer is determined based on individual strengths and relevant business considerations. 

    In addition to the base salary, certain roles may qualify for a performance-based incentive and/or equity, with eligibility depending on the position. These rewards are based on a combination of company performance and individual achievements.
