As a QA Automation Engineer on the Forms team, you will collaborate with the Development and Product teams on a daily basis to ensure we are creating what our customers need for this platform, and releasing with high quality. We're looking for someone who can help us build and improve testing infrastructure within our complicated distributed systems. You'll be responsible for improving tools, monitoring testing frameworks, and crafting the integration tests themselves, along with helping the larger organization understand how to define and improve product quality.
What You'll DoBecome a product expert (know our software inside and out)Build new testing systems (harnesses, tools, docs, and processes)Improve existing test tooling. Current regression tests reside in Cypress.Create and manage test monitoring and dashboarding, including alerting mechanismsImproving existing testing tooling (CLI testing tools, integration tests, test reporting, dashboarding)Writing integration tests based on inputs from our Developers, Product Managers, or CX TeamHelping team members with testing best practicesWhat We Are Looking For:3+ years experience as a test automation engineer using technologies such as CypressSolid foundation in writing and updating automated tests in distributed environmentsExperience discerning which software actions are worth automated testingExperience working remotely with team members across multiple time zones to build camaraderie and productivityWilling to understand and commit to our company valuesMust be fluent in written and spoken EnglishWillingness and desire to learn and embrace new web technologies as they evolveBonus Points:Experience with managing infrastructure through AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitHub ActionsNode.js fluency, or node.js competency and fluency in some comparable languageREST API/networking experienceExperience testing data pipelines and microservicesSalary Range:Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000 (USD)Plus a potential annual bonus of up to 5% of the salary.This is a target starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role.
