About the Role
Strategic partnerships are central to the growth of the company and to our ability to delight customers around the world. Today, we are partnering closely with Salesforce, Gong, Challenger, Sandler, and more to scale the sales enablement category globally. We're looking for a world-class leader to run our business development and strategic alliance organization. You and your team will drive the partner strategy that fuels our go-to-market, accelerates revenue growth, and delights our customers.
This role operates at the intersection of Product, Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships. This role works directly with the C-suite of the company, given the strategic role of Partnerships. In particular, you will spend a great deal of time with our CEO, President of Field Operations, SVP of Sales, and President of Product and Engineering. In addition to leading the team, this role involves directly driving our top 1-2 strategic partnerships, working closely with executive leadership at partner organizations to develop and execute high-impact, mutually beneficial initiatives.

What You'll Do Create and drive the all-up company strategy for Strategic Partnerships. These are partnerships that go much deeper than the “joint press release” across two companies. It’s about moving the needle for growth and strategic, competitive advantage. Create and execute the programs required to fuel our go-to-market globally, drive pipeline generation, and land high-impact initiatives. Lead a cross-functional team that includes Strategic Partnerships, Partner Marketing, Partner Sales, and Technology Alliances to exceptional results. Ensure that Highspot is driving measurable value back to our strategic partners. Champion the voice of the partner in all that we do; develop deep insights into our core partner personas; and drive the development of our ideal partner profile.Hire, grow, and inspire a global team of 14+ Business Development, Partner Marketing, and Partner Sales professionals.Collaborate across functions to land our initiatives and differentiation in the market.Your BackgroundOur ideal candidate has a track record of business and corporate development excellence, helping companies to grow and scale market share. On Target Earnings (OTE) range: $371,000 - $502,000, 70.00% base/30.00% variable target OTE split. Employees are eligible to receive stock options and may also receive other forms of compensation.
The above represents total expected compensation for this role. Actual compensation will depend on various job-related factors, including, but not limited to, location, experience, and job qualifications.
