Job Summary
Responsible for creation and maintenance of the Strategic Resource (NHP) Quarantine Inventory forecasting and distribution schedule. Manages the declining balance inventory for all NHPs farms in line with contracted payment profiles. Ensures all Purchase Orders relating to transportation and logistics are created and monitors Accounts Payable to ensure timely payment. Ensures accurate and timely communication with the Strategic Resources Logistics team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the annual NHP Quarantine (NHPQ) inventory and distribution forecast planning.
• Maintain the inventory plan and track distribution and declining balance of annual supply commitments from global suppliers.
• Prepare routine reports related to inventory balances for senior leadership.
• Creates and manages requisitions for Purchase Orders (P.O.) from global suppliers in accordance with contracts.
• Ensures new suppliers are added to vendor system occurs in a timely manner.
• Collaborates with the distribution team to monitor supply of NHPs for global Safety Assessment (“SA”) sites, ensuring that demand and capacity spreadsheets are aligned and reflect accurate data.
• Work closely with Senior Manager, Global NHP Distribution.
• Create POs and act as primary point of contact for suppliers related to supplier payments.
• Primary point of contact for Inventory queries relating to supplier P.O.’s.
• Develops tools and analytics to understand and quantify imports and reconcile with demand and capacity constraints.
• Recommends and develops process improvements.
• Maintains collaborative and productive working relationships with Procurement, Finance, and Inventory COE.
• Maintain NHP contract database and updates pricing models as required.
• Manages maturation inventory at global supplier sites including descending balances and per diem payments.
• Coordinates with Client Managers to create monthly per diem invoices for client maturation colonies.
• Prepares routine client-facing reports on inventory balances.
• Manages inventory flow into European quarantines and sites.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
Experience: Established track record of related experience and/or training, with demonstrable skill set in financial planning, analysis, and data modeling. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
Other: Proficiency in SAP or related financial systems. Excellent Excel skills required and proficiency with other MS tools. Smartsheet and data extraction and organisation are necessary to be successful with an aptitude to leverage power query, power pivot, and power BI. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to support a collaborative team in a remote workforce environment. Ability to adapt to changing priorities to support the business. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn. Strong analytical, attention to detail and organizational skills required.
