SUMMARY

The Senior Product Specialist - AI works closely with Application Engineers and product developers to enhance our AI offerings and support customers in deploying and leveraging these technologies effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in artificial intelligence and a passion for applying AI solutions within engineering simulation. The candidate will develop a deep working knowledge of the AI product portfolio, to demonstrate the potential of groundbreaking technology and guide the future of Ansys AI. The role will require collaboration with the global PM team, the CTO office, Product Marketing, R&D teams and the Sales organization.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Explore opportunities to utilize new AI products as well as AI technology across the entire Ansys product portfolio by strong collaboration with the Ansys product management team and the AI development teams
  • Contribute to an Ansys AI product vision and a corresponding strategy for cross-product/cross BU adoption of AI technology to achieve that vision
  • Spread the information on AI plans and initiatives across Ansys
  • Assist the Ansys product managers with updating their GTM strategies for AI capabilities included in their product lines/products
  • Contribute to, monitor and adjust the AI roadmap
  • Work with product marketing and field marketing on internal and external messaging of the Ansys AI/ML vision and strategy
  • Work with Ansys application engineers and customers to get feedback on available products and features and provide guidance on future direction
  • Demonstrate capability of products and features and contribute to marketing materials
  • Become an internal center of expertise on AI capabilities

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning or related field with 5 years’ experience, MS with 3 years’ experience, or PhD
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts, machine learning models, and algorithms
  • Understanding of AI and other specialized concepts like deep learning
  • Competence in software development
  • Working experience with commercial CAE tools, engineering simulation concepts, and product capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to communicate business value of technical innovations
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time (Europe, US and Global)

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters Degree in Business, Science or Engineering with 5+ years of combined experience in engineering, CAE simulations, computer science or AI/ML related technologies
  • Experienced in using Ansys flagship engineering simulation products and/or competitive products in the market
  • Complete understanding of various machine learning branches and disciplines such as supervised and unsupervised learning
  • Experience in product management is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a geographically distributed team
