We seek an experienced Senior IT Automation and Integration Engineer who designs and maintains automation solutions and system integrations to optimize IT processes. They focus on data manipulation, querying, and ensuring seamless data flow between applications to improve system functionality and workflows.

What you will be doing:

 

The Senior Automation and Integration Engineer is responsible for the development and implementation of robust automation solutions and system integrations. The position is tasked with streamlining workflows, ensuring seamless data exchange between applications, and optimizing system functionality to bolster user efficiency. The successful candidate will apply their advanced Oracle SQL programming skills for effective data manipulation and analysis, leveraging stored procedures and query optimization. A crucial aspect of the role involves developing automation workflows with tools like K2, UIPath, and PowerAutomate to meet business objectives. This position collaborates closely across teams to design and execute integrations via REST APIs, manage ELT processes using Informatica, and transition legacy systems such as BizTalk. The engineer is also responsible for ensuring compliance with data security protocols and maintaining detailed documentation of systems and processes. The role integrates within a dynamic team, demanding a proactive approach to problem-solving and a solid grasp of enterprise architecture. Your responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Design, build, and deploy automation workflows using K2, UIPath, and PowerAutomate to optimize business processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop robust and scalable automation solutions that meet business requirements and ensure seamless data flow.
  • Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries and scripts using Oracle SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis in an Oracle Operational Data Warehouse environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement integrations utilizing REST APIs, ensuring they align with business objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance ELT processes with Informatica PowerCenter for effective data integration across systems.
  • Execute the strategic decommissioning of BizTalk integrations, facilitating smooth transitions to modern platforms.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide expert technical guidance, leveraging your knowledge of enterprise architecture and system workflows.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all workflows, integrations, and migration plans to ensure continuity and compliance.
  • Ensure all automation and integration solutions comply with data protection and security standards, adhering to company policies and industry regulations.



Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation development using K2, UIPath, and PowerAutomate.
  • Advanced Oracle SQL programming skills, including stored procedures, triggers, views, and query optimization.
  • Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter for ELT development and data integration, with experience on-premise or in the cloud.
  • Intermediate experience with REST APIs for integration development.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform and other cloud-based integration platforms is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of modern middleware technologies and enterprise architecture.
  • Experience with decommissioning or migrating BizTalk integrations is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with cloud-based integration platforms.
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture and system workflows.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern middleware technologies is an advantage.

 

Nice to Haves
  • Familiarity with additional replication tools like Qlik Replicate.
  • Certification in cloud computing or data integration technologies.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
  • Experience in data warehouse technologies and data modeling practices.
