Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic New Business Development Director to lead our expansion in Asian markets. This is a senior-level role that will drive business growth by identifying opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and overseeing client acquisition in one of the fastest-growing regions for the iGaming industry. The ideal candidate will bring deep market knowledge, a robust network, and a proven track record of success in business development within the online gambling or technology sector.
Key Responsibilities
• Market Strategy Development:
• Design and implement a comprehensive business development strategy tailored to Asian markets.
• Analyze market trends, regulatory landscapes, and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
• Client Acquisition:
• Identify and engage potential clients and partners across the region.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including gaming operators, affiliates, and technology partners.
• Partnership Management:
• Negotiate and close high-value deals to expand SOFTSWISS’s footprint.
• Foster long-term partnerships to ensure continued revenue growth and client satisfaction.
• Regional Expertise:
• Serve as a subject-matter expert on Asian markets, advising internal teams on cultural nuances, market-specific requirements, and regulatory updates.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to align offerings with market needs.
• Act as the regional representative of SOFTSWISS at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
• Performance Metrics:
• Set and achieve ambitious revenue targets and KPIs.
• Monitor and report on business development performance in the region.
Key Qualifications
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within the iGaming, technology, or online entertainment industries.
• Deep understanding of Asian markets, including cultural, business, and regulatory factors.
• Strong network of contacts within the iGaming sector across Asia.
• Exceptional negotiation and deal-closing skills.
• Ability to create and execute complex go-to-market strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional Asian languages (e.g., Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese) is highly desirable.
