Job description

Our client, a leading player in the iGaming industry in the African continent, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Manager to oversee operations in Francophone African countries. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing professional with a deep understanding of the African market, particularly within the startup or fintech space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement product-led marketing strategies, focusing on identifying and promoting the product’s unique selling points (USPs) in each target market.
  • Lead and manage marketing initiatives across multiple Francophone countries, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Leverage your technology background to understand product features and communicate them effectively to the target audience.
  • Travel frequently across the region to build relationships, drive business growth, and monitor local market trends.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Operations to ensure smooth execution of strategies.
  • Act as the key point of contact for the local teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Continuously monitor and report on market performance, identifying growth opportunities and challenges.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in French & English (native or excellent proficiency) with a strong understanding of local nuances in Francophone Africa.
  • Located in French speaking Africa 
  • Previous experience in marketing, with a preference for candidates from a startup or fintech background.
  • Ability to work autonomously, create strategies, and lead initiatives independently.
  • In-depth understanding of the African consumer landscape.
  • Ability to travel frequently across the region as part of your role.
  • Open-minded, adaptable, and a strong team player.
