Job description

This is a part-time position (24-32 hours per week), based in Amsterdam. Relocation is not offered for this role. While hybrid working is possible, you will be required to work at least two days per week in the Amsterdam office to ensure seamless operations and support. Dutch language proficiency is not required, and we are looking for someone interested in a long-term commitment to help build and enhance our workplace experience.

Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Workplace Experience Manager to join our team at Founda Health. This pivotal role bridges traditional office management with innovative approaches to fostering collaboration and connectivity across our distributed workforce. You will oversee the daily operations of our offices in Amsterdam and Bangalore while supporting the needs of our global workforce.

As the Workplace Experience Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing our workplace culture by driving policies, initiatives, and operational excellence that align with Founda Health’s values and strategic goals. Your efforts will ensure our employees—whether in-office or remote—feel connected, supported, and empowered in a seamless, engaging, and productive work environment.

Role & Responsibilities

Office Operations Leader

  • Oversee daily operations for the Amsterdam office and collaborate with our Bangalore team to remotely manage their operations. This includes device management, onboarding and offboarding, facilities management, budget optimization, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Ensure both offices are safe, functional, and fully equipped to meet the needs of employees.
  • Ensure compliance with local workplace regulations, health, and safety standards.

Hybrid Workforce Champion

  • Develop and implement workplace policies that align with Founda Health’s remote-first values, ensuring inclusivity and consistency across all work setups.
  • Act as a central resource for employees, providing tools, support, and guidance to enhance collaboration and productivity.
  • Balance the needs of in-office and remote employees, ensuring equitable access to resources and support.

Culture Builder

  • Coordinate team events, both in-person and virtual, to strengthen workplace culture and foster engagement.
  • Lead initiatives that promote employee well-being, connection, and collaboration across geographies.

Data-Driven Innovator

  • Leverage data insights to improve workspace utilization and inform decisions about physical and virtual workplace enhancements.

Collaborative Partner

  • Work closely with the People team and department leads to align workplace strategies with business objectives and employee needs.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in office management, workplace operations, or a related role, with exposure to hybrid or distributed workforce environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage operations across multiple locations and remote setups.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support employees across diverse work environments.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to drive initiatives that enhance workplace culture and productivity.
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of workplace compliance regulations, particularly in the Netherlands (India is a bonus but not essential).

Recruitment Process

  1. Introduction call with our People team (~30 minutes)
  2. Cross-department interview with Finance & Compliance (~30 minutes)
  3. Final interview with our Chief of Staff and HR Business Partner (~45 minutes)
