Responsibilities:
Purpose
Under the direction of the Manager, Business Applications as well as the ERP Architect, the Analyst III, Systems supports the implementation and operations of Wipfli’s Workday implementation. The Analyst III gathers information and data, analyzes business needs and technical requirements and processes, identifies and implements business process improvements and/or systems, and participates as a member on projects. The Analyst III serves as the Subject Matter Expert of the ERP, providing both technical and business knowledge expertise and acts as a liaison between the business users and the product team to provide end user support, documentation needs, demos, and suggestions for product enhancements to the larger ERP delivery team.
Responsibilities
- Take a lead role in the delivery of technical and operational support, including creation and delivery of end user documentation and training for common requests
- Collaborate and/or be the liaison with IT, business owners, product leaders, outside technical resources and vendors to translate business needs or questions into product or training operational requirements and deliverables
- Identify potential impacts or risks of the technical solutions including recommendation of deployment and change mitigation strategies
- Prepare business case documents by participating in business and vendor meetings to understand system direction and potential impact of system upgrades
- Play a key role in vendor relationship and lead influence and consensus building efforts for recommended solutions
- Manage the efficient and timely implementation of process and/or technology changes and upgrades that meet business and technology requirements
- Participate in projects to ensure appropriate awareness and communication, owning appropriate project tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelors Degree in IT or an IT related major, business, finance or accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and job related experience
- 5 years of job-related experience implementing and supporting ERP solutions, preferably Workday
- Experience with Workday Prism preferred
- Proven experience leading projects and collaborating with stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
