The Role
The Associate Director, Professional Promotion, Gyn-Onc will develop and implement brand strategies and execution for the initial U.S. launch of Genmab’s first wholly-owned asset in the gyn-onc space. This critical role will report directly to the Director, Professional Promotion, Gyn-Onc and be expected to work closely with Gyn-Onc Consumer Marketing, Digital Strategy, and Global Marketing teams. Success in this role will require strong leadership, realizing strategic and tactical synergies, and launch expertise.
The Associate Director, Professional Promotion, Gyn-Onc is a new role within a growing team. He/she will be a key contributor to the brand strategy and launch excellence for the anticipated initial indication launch, driving strong alignment and collaboration with cross-functional partners. The successful candidate will bring recent launch experience (Gyn-Onc or novel solid tumor asset preferred) and a proven track record operating in an emerging/developing organization.
Responsibilities
Shape key promotional strategies and pull through prioritized tactics aligned to the overall product brand plan
Develop and manage detailed launch plans, aligned to strategic and operational objectives of launch readiness
Establish and foster collaborative relationships with external agency partners and internal cross-functional stakeholders at Genmab
Partner effectively across Gyn-Onc Brand and Digital Strategy teams to implement brand campaigns, positioning and messaging across brand ecosystem
Engage in promotional review process and meetings to ensure launch readiness
Effectively translate primary & secondary data into insight-driven decision making and actionable strategies
Collaborate effectively with Genmab field leadership and Commercial Learning to support strategic execution and continued optimization of Marketing materials
Manage project timelines, budgets and all key deliverables aligned to brand goals
Requirements
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required
5+ years of professional relevant experience required, including US in-line marketing experience
Ability to travel domestically up to 25%
Recent launch experience required – ADC, IO, targeted therapy, personalized medicine solid tumor and/or gyn-onc launch experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Accelerated approval (Subpart E or H) launch experience highly preferred
Experience working in a highly complex, dynamic environment of an emerging organization strongly preferred – self-starter with strong initiative and solutions-oriented mindset
Strong communication and presentation skills
Resourceful, decisive and proactive approach to managing multiple priorities in a fast-growing organization
Startup, emerging pharma, or new team experience desired
Ability to thrive in ambiguity, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a track record of results
Experience successfully engaging and partnering with field sales organizations in a marketing capacity
Commitment to corporate culture of innovation, patient-centricity, inclusion and compliance
Where you will work
For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:
$170,400.00---$255,600.00
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
