Job Summary:
The Marketing Operations Manager will streamline workflows, oversee budgets and procurement, and support cross-functional initiatives to ensure operational efficiency. Responsibilities include managing POs, tracking agreements, developing training modules for tools like Wrike, and preparing presentations and reports for leadership. This role requires excellent organization, attention to detail, and effective collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities:
Project and Initiative Support
Wave Initiative Management:
Track and manage upcoming and late milestones for Wave initiatives.
Provide weekly status updates to stakeholders.
Adjust financial projections to reflect changes in actual outcomes.
Cross-Functional Projects: Lead smaller cross-functional initiatives, such as intake process improvements and workflow refinements, that don't fall directly under a single team.
Ad Hoc Projects: Support leadership with operational expertise on miscellaneous projects.
Change Management
Process Documentation: Create and maintain detailed records of workflows (RACI), systems, and tools, ensuring clear knowledge transfer and continuity.
Training and Education: Partner with the training team to provide necessary operational knowledge and guidance to new and existing team members.
Strategic Coordination
Workflow Optimization: Identify inefficiencies across the Marketing Operations teams and implement streamlined workflows to improve productivity and collaboration.
Process Alignment: Partner with team leaders to ensure all operational processes align with overarching marketing goals and objectives.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Facilitate coordination across teams to manage overlapping priorities and drive seamless execution.
Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare reports, Google Slides, and presentations for executive
Budget and Procurement Management
PO Approvals: Review and approve purchase order (PO) requests in Ariba, ensuring all requests align with approved budgets and financial guidelines.
Procurement Oversight:
Track new agreements through the procurement process, ensuring timely completion and compliance.
Facilitate approvals through the Strategic Spend Committee.
Engage the appropriate stakeholders for risk review processes to mitigate operational risks associated with new agreements.
Budget Tracking: Monitor and report on expenditures and financial variances, updating leadership as actuals differ from planned figures.
