Summary


We are seeking a dynamic Safety Transformation Specialist to assist with the on-site implementation of our Critical Risk Management (CRM) Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of critical risks and critical controls, leadership in the field, content and knowledge management, and facilitation and training.

 

This role involves working directly with clients in high-risk industries; therefore, a background in mining, energy, construction, or other heavy industries is preferred.

 

This role is perfect for someone passionate about eradicating fatalities in the workplace while driving a meaningful change in safety culture.

Position Overview


The Safety Transformation Specialist will play a vital role in delivering Infield Engagement activities for partners and clients worldwide. This includes facilitating intensive training sessions (Bootcamps), managing Partner Certification programs, and providing on-site and remote coaching to implement and sustain Forwood’s fatality prevention methodologies.
 

As a key team member, you will:

• Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in CRM and heavy industry operations.
• Facilitate training and workshops for both client and partner audiences.
• Provide mentorship to internal team members and external trainers.
• Support continuous improvement of our Partner Certification programs.


Key Responsibilities

 

  • Facilitate engaging and effective bootcamps on client sites, ensuring the successful implementation of Critical Risk Management practices.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert and trusted advisor for clients, building strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Utilize storytelling techniques to convey the importance of fatality prevention and bring Critical Risk Management (CRM) concepts to life in an impactful way.
  • Drive safety culture transformation by serving as a change agent and promoting critical risk awareness.
  • Customize training approaches for diverse stakeholder groups, from operational teams to executive leadership.
  • Adapt quickly to client-specific environments and tailor training to meet unique needs.
  • Conduct on-site and remote coaching sessions to drive adoption of Forwood’s fatality prevention methodology.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to continually improve content and delivery based on client feedback.
  • Leverage internal systems to track progress, document outcomes, and generate actionable insights.
  • Collaborate on the continuous enhancement of Partner Certification programs, incorporating new materials such as risk perception and awareness.
  • Provide input into the development of CRM solutions and knowledge materials.
  • Prepare and deliver post-engagement reports, providing actionable insights and feedback to clients and partners.

 
Qualifications

 

  • Passion for Safety: A strong commitment to preventing fatalities and promoting health and safety.
  • Experience: Prior experience in health and safety, particularly in high-risk industries like mining, energy, or construction, is preferred.
  • Exceptional Presentation Skills: Proven ability to deliver impactful presentations to both C-level executives and shop-floor teams.
  • Critical Risk Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of critical risks and controls.
  • Storytelling Skills: Strong ability to captivate audiences and communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Adaptability: Quick to learn and comfortable working on-site in dynamic and challenging environments.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.

  • This role will require both domestic and international travel to client sites.
  • Other languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, Italian or French would be highly advantageous.
  • 100% remote.
