From managing G/L accounting and business processes like AR/AP to producing management reports, budgets, and forecasts, we’re committed to helping clients achieve their goals.

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate G/L reporting, timely financial statements, and seamless client communication. If you’re a detail-oriented professional who thrives on bridging public and private accounting, we’d love to hear from you!

Requirements

You'll Get a Chance To

  • Maintain general ledgers, prepare monthly closing journal entries, and reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Analyze accounts and report on G/L details using advanced Excel and accounting software
  • Prepare management reporting packages, including financial statements, KPIs, supplemental schedules, and short term cash projections
  • Assist with payroll reconciliations and guide clients through accounting-related processes
  • Supervise and mentor Accounting Clerks on the engagement team
  • Provide clients with timely open items reports and address client inquiries with care
  • Track and reconcile key metrics and support documentation in an organized manner

What You Bring to the Team

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Licensed CPA preferred
  • 3+ years of private/public accounting experience, working with businesses in the $1 million to $20 million in revenue range
  • Working knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage priorities
  • Extensive knowledge in the Microsoft 365 Suite and experience with accounting software

How We'll Reward You

At Aldrich, we know a great client experience starts with an exceptional employee experience. Aldrich offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Health Insurance Benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance as well as health savings, flexible spending, and dependent care
  • Retirement Savings: 401(k) plan with 1.5% match and 5% discretionary profit sharing
  • Time Off: 5 weeks of vacation and sick leave, 10 Paid Holidays, 16 Hours of Volunteer Time, Paid Sabbaticals and Paid Parental Leave

This information is provided in compliance with applicable state equal pay and pay equity legislation. It is in the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. At Aldrich, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensations decisions are dependent on facts and circumstances of each candidate. The compensation offered may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, and other job-related reasons. Aldrich makes internal equity a consideration in all pay decisions. A reasonable estimate of the current range for the full time position is $70,000 - 90,000 per year.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational goals.
