Job description

Position Overview:
 We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Project Coordinator to support our team in data analytics, tracking, and managing paperwork related to EPR compliance and circular economy initiatives. As a key member of our operations team, you will assist in gathering, processing, and analyzing data to ensure the smooth execution of programs aimed at reducing waste and increasing recycling. You will also help maintain records, assist with reports, and support the team in various administrative tasks that drive our mission forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analytics & Reporting:
    • Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources related to EPR compliance, waste reduction, and recycling efforts.
    • Assist in preparing regular reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting performance metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
    • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to waste diversion and recycling programs.
  2. Tracking & Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of all compliance documents, tracking forms, and other paperwork related to EPR regulations.
    • Ensure that all data and paperwork are up-to-date and compliant with applicable laws and internal standards.
    • Assist in updating spreadsheets, databases, and tracking systems to ensure efficient workflow.
  3. Program Support:
    • Assist with the coordination and implementation of various programs and projects aimed at supporting producers in compliance with EPR laws.
    • Help prepare and distribute informational materials and documents to producers, governments, and stakeholders.
    • Support the team in maintaining communication with producers to ensure timely submission of required reports and documentation.
    • Coordinate meetings with consultants and internal staff to ensure deliverables meet the team’s needs and are completed on time. 
  4. Administrative & Operational Support:
    • Provide general administrative support to the operations team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing meeting notes.
    • Coordinate logistics for internal and external meetings, workshops, and events.
    • Help identify and streamline operational processes to improve efficiency within the team.
  5. Collaboration & Engagement with Interested Parties:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between data analytics, tracking systems, and EPR compliance efforts.
    • Assist in preparing materials for meetings with government agencies, businesses, and community organizations involved in recycling and waste reduction.

 

Required Skills:

  • Familiarity with corporate sustainability, prefer understanding of EPR and packaging sustainability 
  • Basic data analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with Expert skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with CRM software
  • Project management principles and techniques and project management software
  • Effectively coordinating resources and meeting timelines;
  • Coordinating activities with other internal departments and external organizations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail.

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or institution 
  • 5+ years’ experience in an operations or administrative role

 

Compensation and Other Information:

  • Location: Initially Fully Remote
  • Salary range is based on a variety of factors. The base salary offered to successful candidate will be based on a variety of factors in accordance with applicable law, including the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location. Additional Incentive Awards will be offered in addition to the base salary conditional upon meeting certain performance factors, as set forth more fully in any offer of employment made. In addition to base salary and an incentive opportunity, this role is eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits, life insurance, retirement, and paid time off.
