Job description

Incluso is looking for a Technical Sales Manager for Tongyu Technolgy in Europe. This is a permanent position that can be located anywhere in Europe.

Position description, duties, and responsibilities

Technical Sales Manager (TSM) position is a sales position with technical, and technical marketing orientation. TSM works with Tongyu’s (Tongyu Technology Oy) European customers’ technical and commercial team members to promote and sell Tongyu’s products. The TSM has experience in the BSA industry and has worked with some of the technical managers at the European MNOs. The TSM understands antenna technology at the level that he can have a technical discussion with the customers.


Key functions and responsibilities

  • Work closely with customers’ technical team to promote Tongyu products, technology, and capability.
  • Understand customer’s needs, wants, and challenges. Discover and define what is needed without necessarily waiting for a complete specification.
  • Find solutions that strengthen customer relationship and lead to increased sales and sales margins
  • Interface regularly with Tongyu HQ engineering to align in status, targets and new technology
  • Communicate ideas, concepts, requirements, and challenges to Tongyu design engineers and management.
  • Participate in proposal preparation and technical responses
  • Using inputs from R&D and HQ marketing, create technical presentations that support the team in Europe
  • Work closely with the sales team to make and execute strategies with target customer accounts
  • TSM will have ownership of selected customer accounts as an Account Manager.
  • TSM KPI will consist of team and personal objectives.


Additional functions and responsibilities

TSM is a key part of the Tongyu team. Many Tongyu BSA customers in Europe are very technical oriented, having >25 years of experience in RF planning and optimization. Tongyu’s target is that our customer views the TSM as a member of customer’s and Tongyu’s shared team. A trusted partner.

The TSM has additional responsibilities. The list below is not intended as an exhaustive list, but an example of responsibilities. As a Sr. level team member, TSM recognizes and organizes his/hers plan to best achieve the agreed targets.

  • Handle technical/quality concerns raised by customers
  • TSM coordinates and manages the BSA product roadmap for Tongyu Europe, so it aligns with customer needs and competitive pressure
  • Participate in technical marketing activities with sales and product management: Create material and set objectives for marketing campaigns
  • Gather technical requirements and competitive intelligence on applicable antenna subjects
  • Support to OEM accounts (Ericsson and Nokia) is expected


Experience and Competencies

To be able to perform above functions the position has following qualifying characteristics

  • Requires a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or a related technical/science discipline
  • Must have experience in managing technical relationship with BSA (Mobile Network Operator) customers
  • Must have a good understanding of antenna technical requirements, plus understanding how antenna parameters impact network performance.
  • Strong communication, presentation (creation and delivery), and interpersonal skills are required, enabling an effective interface with customers, Tongyu design engineering departments, and management.
  • Must be customer focused, able to work on a self-initiated basis or in a team environment and travel as required.
  • Can develop and define new requirements based on customer discussions.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a company internal engineering team in a different country
  • Strong spoken and written English is required. German, Spanish, or Italian is a strong plus.
  • Must be able to travel internationally within Europe (approximately 50% of the time)

This is a position that can be carried out remotely from anywhere in Europe if there are good connections for traveling, Offices are available in Kista (Sweden), for candidates located in the area.


This is a fulltime and permanent position, with 6 months’ probation time. Start is as soon as possible.
