Job description

Are you a proactive and detail-oriented artist who thrives on innovation and is eager to set new benchmarks for material quality, continuously raising the bar for character art in the industry?

Join this Character Art team as a Senior Material Artist on a highly anticipated AAA game based on a globally recognized IP and ensure their characters are properly dressed.

Mission brief: 

  • Create impressive, realistic clothing materials for human characters
  • Own key parts of the pipeline, including shading, texturing, modeling, cloth simulation, or in-game setup.
  • Polish and add the final touches to existing assets to ensure they meet the highest standards.

NOTE: Only applications with a portfolio showing at least two art piece showcasing your work with realistic material (clothes) art work will be considered.

Details:

  • Start date: January/February
  • Duration: 4-6 months
  • Occupancy rate: 100% assignment (Full-time)
  • Level: Senior
  • Work set-up: remote within CET

 


Your player profile:

  • At least two AAA titles under your belt and experience in multiple stages of production.
  • Expertise in creating realistic material art for clothing, with a strong understanding of anatomy and color.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling tools such as Maya, 3ds Max, and ZBrush.
  • Extensive experience with texturing tools like Substance Painter and Substance Designer.
