Position Summary
Praxis is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable individual for the role of Manager, CMC Materials Management. In this role you will coordinate and oversee CMC shipments, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of materials to our various partners and different facilities. We’re searching for someone with experience in logistics and supply chain related roles who is particularly familiar with cold-chain shipping or handling of hazardous materials. You’ll be responsible for evaluating, planning and scheduling the shipment and delivery of materials ensuring proper handling and adherence to timelines.
Primary Responsibilities
· Coordinate and oversee CMC shipments, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of materials to various facilities / partners.
· Prepare shipping documentation, including customs and regulatory forms.
· Maintain records of shipments, tracking orders, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., GMP, GDP, IATA).
· Communicate with internal teams (manufacturing, QA,) to ensure proper documentation and compliance for all shipments.
· Work with logistics providers to ensure proper handling, shipping methods, and delivery timelines.
· Maintain supporting documents for inventory movements and shipments according to record retention policies.
· Accurately maintain inventory located at contracted warehouses (shipping, receiving, sampling, and destruction of materials).
· Identify and resolve any issues related to the shipments (e.g., delays, customs clearance).
Qualifications and Key Success Factors
· Experience in logistics, supply chain, or similar field, ideally with exposure to CMC in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
· Familiarity with cold-chain shipping or handling hazardous materials may be an advantage.
· Previous experience working with third-party logistics providers or freight forwarding companies.
· Knowledge of relevant regulations such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), GDP (Good Distribution Practices), IATA (for international shipping of regulated materials).
· Strong attention to detail, especially when managing complex shipments with time-sensitive and regulatory requirements.
· Good communication and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
· Proficiency in tracking and shipment software/tools.

To round out this world-class total rewards package, we provide annualized base salary compensation in the range listed below. Final salary range may be modified commensurate with job level, education, and experience.
