The Role
The Zeta L&D Team creates impactful training programs—both technical and non-technical—for internal teams across the organization, as well as technical programs for external customers. We thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering outstanding learning experiences that drive results.

We are seeking a Learning Experience Designer who is passionate about creating high-quality learning solutions that enable learners to achieve their goals in a human-centered and outcomes-driven way. This individual will collaborate with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify needs, close knowledge gaps, and deliver engaging, timely training solutions.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong organizational skills and a passion for attention to detail. They thrive on collaboration, enjoy tackling multiple projects at once, and bring creativity and enthusiasm to our dynamic team.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Design and Develop Learning Content
    • Assist in creating engaging, learner-centered materials for eLearning, instructor-led training, and blended formats.
    • Use design tools (e.g., Articulate, Canva, Vyond, or Camtasia) to produce visually appealing and effective learning resources.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders
    • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) and team members to gather content, define objectives, and ensure learning solutions meet business needs.
    • Revise materials based on feedback to continually improve learning outcomes.
  • Apply Instructional Design Principles
    • Use foundational instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy) to structure and organize learning experiences.
    • Ensure content aligns with adult learning theories and best practices.
  • Analyze Learner Needs
    • Conduct needs assessments to understand target audiences and their skill gaps.
    • Recommend appropriate learning solutions based on data and insights.
  • Evaluate and Refine Learning Solutions
    • Use evaluation techniques (e.g., Kirkpatrick’s levels) to measure learning effectiveness.
    • Continuously update and improve materials to reflect current trends and feedback.
  • Manage Multiple Projects
    • Coordinate and prioritize multiple learning design projects to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
    • Ensure all learning materials are accurate, consistent, and aligned with team guidelines.
  • Support Learning Technology Platforms
    • Assist with testing and troubleshooting learning content in the LMS.
    • Stay current on emerging tools and technologies to enhance learning experiences.

 Desired Characteristics/Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience designing and developing learning content, with exposure to eLearning tools and methodologies.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with learning development tools such as Articulate 360, Camtasia, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite. Basic knowledge of LMS platforms is a plus. Proficiency with recent versions of Microsoft Office including Teams and SharePoint preferred.
  • Content Creation: Experience creating effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts, and video scripts for learning materials.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to produce error-free materials and ensure content accuracy.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills, capable of balancing multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Learning Design: Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories, with an eagerness to develop skills further in this area.
  • Adaptability: Ability to learn new tools and concepts quickly and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player: Positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to team success, seeking feedback and continually improving. A desire to continuously learn and grow. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
