Job description

Position Overview:

This role is part of the HCP International Marketing team, within the broader International Marketing and Sales Excellence (IMSE) team.  This person will build and contribute to a strong team culture focused around commitment, inspiration, passion and achievement.

Working with the HCP International Marketing team, this position is responsible, to support the development & implementation of international marketing programmes which drive awareness & recommendation for Omnipod amongst Healthcare Professional groups which are involved in caring for people living with Type 1 diabetes including all global markets except USA).

The primary objectives of the role are to support in the product life cycle management of the Omnipod portfolio of products, delivering awareness through robust International HCP campaigns and delivering against the marketing plans, aiding the work of the local markets.  

This position will work collaboratively with rest of the International Marketing Team, as well as the Global Franchise teams, Global Marketing, Country Marketing, Legal, Medical, Regulatory & agency partners.

Responsibilities

  • Works with internal partners to support the development of strong marketing strategies and annual marketing plans.
  • Works with internal partners & external agencies to develop engaging content for marketing communications targeted at HCPs
  • Provides strong support for the markets in the international region by supporting the implementation of regional/global campaigns & scaling best practices across the region.
  • Support international markets launching Omnipod 5 by developing and executing launch activities, launch toolkits alongside consistent brand identity.
  • Accountable for developing and supporting the execution of the strategic plan, annual plan, and product launches for HCP audiences
  • Support digital marketing activities including quarterly media planning and creative execution, and collecting and reporting on results, learnings
  • Assist in managing the social media channel along with agency partner including communication planning, content, approvals and posting
  • Support on website page updates and builds including approved copy updates, collecting assets for the page and liaising with Drupal page builders and proof reading
  • Support execution of communication plan taking Medical education materials and working with agency support to build the content into alternative channels including newsletter, email, web page, blog and video content

Preferred Skills & Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree required (with a concentration in Marketing preferred). 
  • Demonstrated experience in a consumer marketing-driven organization. 
  • Experience with email marketing and CRM preferred.  
  • Strong communication, leadership and collaboration skills are required with proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of people and across the organisation.
  • Proven writing skills to a professional audience
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and align others behind a programme or activity with strong project management skills
  • Outcomes & action oriented
  • Ability to take ownership and accountability for wide-ranging project needs
  • Ability to deliver programmes on time & on budget.
  • Ability to analyse data to assess performance & impact
  • Strong prioritization skills – able to focus effort & budget on areas which generate the biggest impact on the business

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required (with a concentration in Marketing preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience marketing to HCPs preferred.
  • Experience with Digital Marketing in the healthcare environment including understanding of digital media channels, digital creative, digital KPIs and metrics, social media management, website optimization (SEO) and CRM/email marketing
  • Experience working within a regional or global team preferred.
  • Prior experience of working within the Diabetes industry preferred.
  • Prior experience of developing communications within a regulated environment (eg. Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Consumer Healthcare).
  • Experience working with Veeva Vault and/or Salesforce would be an asset.
  • Fluent in English – and 1 additional language (e.g. German, French or Dutch)


Travel

  • This is a regional role, across multiple geographies, so periodic travel will be required – this will be to attend meetings in key markets, attend trade shows/conferences, join sales teams on HCP calls or attend research.
  • Travel is estimated at 25% but will flex depending on business needs
