Salary Range: $23-$27 HR

Position Overview: The Coding Specialist will support the medical coding operations for Anesthesia service and providers. This role will also be responsible for working closely with and supporting our global coding staff to ensure all duties are performed accurately and proficiently.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assign accurate CPT, ICD10 and modifiers on patient charts
- Audit coding for anesthesia codes
- Provide accurate answers to queries on coding
- Support the global coding team with auditing, training, and development and maintenance of SOPs
- Day-to-day activity to ensure that coding procedures are up to date and aligned to current needs of the client
- Proficiency across anesthesia and pain management coding
- A sound knowledge of medical coding guidelines and regulations including compliance and reimbursement
- Knowledge of medical terminology necessary to correctly assign diagnosis and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by the Coding Manager

Requirements/Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years coding experience required
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required
- Preferred experience in Anesthesia coding with Certified Anesthesia and Pain Management (CANPC) certification
