Jane Technologies, Inc. is looking for a high-performing Account Executive to help us grow our eCommerce, POS, and in-store payments businesses. We are currently hiring for an Account Executive to generate, develop, and close new business and work with existing clientele on upselling opportunities. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of SaaS experience in a closing role; payments and point of sale experience is required. 
The candidate will be familiar with the lead generation and outbounding process, tireless in the pursuit of new business, and comfortable uncovering new opportunities. We welcome and encourage a creative approach to the sales cycle; bring your own unique tools and capabilities. We love to test and learn, then pour gasoline on what works.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with the full spectrum of business owners, from "mom and pop" shops to multi-state operators.
Grit, professionalism, and the ability to operate autonomously are all vital. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and display the ability to communicate complex (and new) ideas in a simple, digestible form.

This is a fully remote position reporting to the Director of Retail Sales.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect effectively, getting to know your territories and key accounts 
  • Manage prospects from lead to close
  • Identify client needs using consultative discovery processes and present solutions that align with business requirements
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts while managing a pipeline across eCommerce, payments, and POS
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive revenue
  • Promote and advocate the Jane brand and values
  • Provide product feedback from external calls to help inform roadmap decisions 
  • Comfortable and energized operating and problem-solving in a fast-moving organization, working inbound/outbound opportunities across a range of territories and company size
  • High-performing with the ability to meet and exceed quota. Attitude, Performance, and Effort are paramount.
  • Lead generation, follow up activities, appointment setting
  • Conduct research to identify new market opportunities
  • Assist in the coordination, supervision and completion of special projects as appropriate
  • Account management to ensure the ongoing success of Jane partners
