Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, mission-driven, and relationship-oriented Fundraising Manager to lead and enhance our donor engagement and fundraising efforts. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our CEO, ambassadors, and volunteers to cultivate relationships with donors, maintain Salesforce data, and drive key fundraising initiatives that align with our organizational goals.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, CRM experience, and a passion for nonprofit fundraising. You will play a key role in developing and executing relationship-driven fundraising strategies that support WhoWhatWhy’s mission and long-term sustainability.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for donor development initiatives.
  • Lead and coordinate fundraising efforts, ensuring they align with WhoWhatWhy’s mission and values.
  • Maintain and analyze donor data within Salesforce CRM to optimize fundraising strategies.
  • Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with potential donors, existing supporters, and prospects.
  • Collaborate with ambassadors, volunteers, and stakeholders to develop and execute strategic fundraising campaigns.
  • Manage donor-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet key objectives.
  • Schedule and lead donor meetings, presentations, and follow-ups to enhance engagement.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on fundraising progress, donor retention, and revenue generation.
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in fundraising, sales management, or a related field, preferably in a nonprofit or startup environment.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce CRM, including data analysis, reporting, and database management.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proven track record in donor relationship management, including cultivation, stewardship, and retention strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and fundraising metrics to inform strategies and optimize outcomes.

Expectations:

As a member of our team, you will work closely with leaders across various departments. We ask all team members to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week and to maintain high responsiveness through Slack, email, and conference calls. Additionally, we request a minimum commitment of 12 months to ensure continuity and meaningful contributions to our mission.
