Job description

At Kasama, we are looking for a talented Account Executive to help support our commercial growth, acquire new customers, and scale our outbound sales program. This role is key to the expansion of our business, with the primary goal of generating net-new leads and closed deals, by running outbound and partner-oriented sales processes, creating demand, and delivering quantifiable results for the greater organization.

Our ideal candidate must have prior experience as a full-cycle sales representative, ideally within the SFCC or Shopify Plus Space.

Role Overview

As an Account Executive, you will be a pivotal force in driving Kasama’s expansion by acquiring, cultivating, and expanding under-penetrated mid-market and growth accounts, with an expansion into large account and enterprise opportunities as you, and Kasama, grow. The role positions you at the forefront of fueling our growth and shaping our market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Form meaningful relationships with Account Executives at Kasama’s key platform partners.
  • Identify high-potential prospective clients through targeted strategies.
  • Implement effective prospecting techniques to generate leads and drive revenue growth within the assigned territory.
  • Devise and implement sales and partnership strategies for acquiring new customers.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from business case development to deal closure.
  • Create proposals and lead contract negotiating with clients
  • Provide detailed, accurate sales forecasting to support the company’s business plan
  • Ensure accurate, timely information and data are compiled to fully document customer and prospect interactions
  • Regular travel for in-person meetings with sales leaders to develop key relationships and drive sales progress
  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity to provide feedback to the company leadership team

Requirements

  • 3+ Years of hands-on experience in process-driven sales environments, ideally with digital or e-commerce systems integrators
  • Relevant e-commerce platform omni-channel sales experience
  • A track record of consistently meeting and exceeding performance objectives.
  • Proven ability to drive results throughout the sales process, from prospecting to successful deal closure.
  • Proficient in navigating relationships with a consultative and strategic mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and excel in a dynamic and evolving company landscape.
