About the role: 

The Benefits Technology Consultant is responsible for providing expertise in HR/Benefits technology platforms to advise in vendor evaluations and ensure the platform’s configuration best delivers services needed. The Benefits Technology Consultant is tasked with serving as a subject matter expert in benefits administration platforms for our Benefits Consultants, partnering with clients during the evaluation of HR/Benefits technology solutions, and working with ben admin vendors to implement enrollment processes.  The ideal candidate is someone enthusiastic about technology and its use to enhance the benefits experience, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. 

Responsibilities include:

    • Partner with Benefits Consultants to evaluate needs and recommend vendor solutions to meet key business requirements
    • Stay up to date with technologies and providing updates on new features of vendor partners
    • Assist Bennie clients and prospects with identifying potential platform partners and participating in demos
    • Assist Bennie Benefits Consultants with platform configuration 
    • Complete ben admin system audits to ensure configuration accuracy
    • Resolve complex ben admin issues related to plan configuration, reporting, and enrollment management
    • Ensure EDI and API connections are established for Consulting book of business
    • Own regular touch points with top ben admin partners
    • Maintain internal resources used to document ben admin service & processes
    • Identify and own miscellaneous projects with ben admin partners that drive service efficiency

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of experience in benefits administration and HRIS technology

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience working with Benefits brokers
  • Experience in training/enablement

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range for this position, from USD85,000 to USD100,000 base annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible PTO, health insurance, retirement plans, and the option to work in a remote environment.
