  • PMP or similar certification
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (Asana or similar)
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
  • Proven experience managing large cross-department project teams and multiple, concurrent projects
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

During the 1st Month:

  • You will shadow a project manager to understand our processes and what foundations have been laid within the organization
  • You will collaborate with the Program Manager to learn about how your role fits within the internal operations team, the Operations Organization, and Niche
  • You will shadow the Program Manager to various team/project meetings to better understand our current goals and working groups
  • You will build relationships across the organization by participating in company-wide events, onboarding sessions, and will have access to an onboarding “buddy”

Within 3 Months:

  • You will feel more integrated and will be a contributing member of Internal Operations by managing, executing, and communicating about ongoing projects
  • You will begin exercising your agile and project management knowledge by facilitating team meetings, tracking progress, and assisting in the breakdown of work
  • You’re able to remove impediments from your project team to keep work moving smoothly

  • You can anticipate the needs of the project team and stakeholders to proactively set agendas and breakdown work to drive collaborative meetings and conversations
  • You’ve built enough trust and context to execute high-priority projects successfully and have clarified best practices and standards
  • You openly collaborate with your project management counterparts, share knowledge and learnings, and further the evolution of processes within the org

Within 12 Months:

  • You will have a deep knowledge of our product, company, and Operations Organization
  • You are highly trusted and openly coordinate with Directors, Managers, and Individual Contributors to maintain alignment and keep open lines of communication
  • You’ve adapted your processes and workflows to adjust to our scaling organization

Are you excited about the position and its responsibilities, but hesitant because your experience doesn't align 100% with the posted requirements? We believe you are more than a resume, so go for it! You won’t want to miss the opportunity to play a part in helping students find where they belong.
