Job Description:

HPE Global Support is looking for a high-calibre leader for our Business Analytics team. This position will be an integral part of the Business Operations team. You are a fit if you thrive in a fast-paced environment that values crucial communication, alignment with our company's core principles, collaboration, results and have a mix of strong people leadership, business analytics expertise and business intelligence tool implementation skills. This role offers a great opportunity to build and lead a strong business analytics team supporting business intelligence needs for the organization with an innovative mindset.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage and lead a team comprised primarily of business intelligence tool developers and business analytics SMEs to enable best-in-class in house business analytics abilities
  • Provide strategic data-driven insights, proactively and reactively, to enable long term planning
  • Support quarterly functional reviews by providing a consolidated view of KPIs in a near automated manner
  • Be the single point of contact for all internal Global Support Business Analytics and Intelligence requests
  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders on Business Analytics and Intelligence capabilities, including providing an executive summary on initiatives to improve BA/BI landscape
  • Be a thought leader for innovation in our business intelligence tools – build a business case for prioritized ideas
  • Assign responsibilities, provide direction, leadership, and coaching, remove barriers as needed to enable direct reports to execute their roles and achieve objectives and goals
  • Create and foster a mutually beneficial relationship with various Global Support functions, delivery functions and support teams.
  • Create a working environment that is conducive to individual growth, high performance, is challenging and rewarding
  • Achieve diversity and other HR goals
  • May participate in initiatives to improve effective development and utilization of company human capital (e.g. develop rotational programs, re-skilling programs, etc).

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong skills in management of people and business relationships, knowledge in organizational design and planning, problem solving, managing individual and team productivity and dynamics
  • Proven expertise in driving KPI insights, metrics design and business intelligence tool implementation
  • Demonstrated business acumen, understanding of organizational strategy, and successful experience managing all aspects of cross-business unit initiatives, including communicating with internal and external stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources
  • Candidly approachable, relates well to others, engages people and helps them understand change, provides and seeks feedback, articulates clearly, actively listens
  • Strong presenter; including executive presentations and storytelling at an executive level
  • Communicates effectively, excellent written and verbal communication skills, mastery in English
  • Demonstrate broad knowledge of corporate organization and policies, and cross functional roles and objectives, including end-to-end operational and functional knowledge of HPE Operations
  • Extensive background in building and deploying BI tools like SQL, PowerBI, Qlik Sense etc.
  • Recognized as authority in their area of expertise; more frequent influence at cross-functional and on executive level
  • Leads change and innovation – Challenge the status quo

Education and Experience Required:

  • 12+ years to demonstrate mastery of Service Business Management in Analytics related areas
  • First level and advanced level university degree preferred.
