Manual Tester (Remote)

• Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases to verify software functionality, usability, and performance.
  
• Perform manual testing of desktop applications on Windows platforms.
  
• Test web applications and validate their integration with Azure services.
  
• Identify, document and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  
• Conduct regression testing to confirm that recent changes haven't adversely affected existing functionalities.
  
• Assist in setting up and managing test environments, including Azure configurations.
  
• Participate in requirement analysis to provide input on testability aspects.
  
• Execute exploratory testing to identify potential issues beyond predefined test cases.
  
• Support release deployments, ensuring that high-quality features and end-to-end scenarios are validated before going into production
  
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and story reviews. Work closely with developers and product managers to refine user stories and acceptance criteria. 
  
• Actively identify, document, and prioritize defects during manual testing.
  
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure bugs are addressed in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure thorough root-cause analysis for complex issues discovered manually. 
  
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
  
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Manual Tester
  
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  
• Proficiency in creating and executing detailed test plans and test cases.
  
• Experience with desktop application testing in Windows environments.
  
• Familiarity with web application testing and basic knowledge of Azure services.
  
• Basic understanding of Azure administration, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
  
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA.
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
  
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
