LOCATION: Remote / Corporate Office in Richmond Hill (Hybrid)

Our approach to providing this full enterprise solution to both the field (i.e. property operations and end customers) and head/back office personnel is through a combination of the development of native solutions that provide critical operational functionality for our business, and the seamless integration of value-add third party applications and services. We require all our development team (testers and coders) to build a deep knowledge of our business and be able to design practical, efficient solutions for business users. Our processes are only as defined as necessary, and we rely on our team members’ judgement to assess the best approach for each development item. The successful candidate will work as part of a distributed Technology team of 50 (Toronto & Dublin), helping maintain and expand our technology offerings.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as the go-to person and SME on multiple applications
Understand both the business and the technology, bringing this context to the entire development process.
Actively participate in the design, development, testing, implementation and support of all systems.
Liaise directly with stakeholders to gather requirements or to validate any solution.
Creating and executing test cases for development items, including:

Discussing changes with BAs/developers
Analysing and assessing potential impact of changes
Formulating and documenting appropriate scenarios
Raising defects during testing
Determine Impact analysis

Plan and participate in executing regression testing

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Minimum 5+ years of Software QA Engineering experience in delivering software testing projects
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field
Strong hands-on working knowledge of SQL is required
Must have JIRA experience
Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance life cycle, methodologies, and best practices
Programming language such as Java and Selenium would be an asset
