Techno Functional Appian Architect and Leader

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a skilled Techno-Functional Appian Architect and Leader to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will lead Appian development projects, engage stakeholders, ensure best development practices, maintain high-quality documentation, and provide leadership to a team of Appian Developers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of Appian applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
  
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their needs, and translate them into technical solutions within the Appian platform.
  
• Guide and mentor Appian Developers in implementing effective solutions while adhering to best practices.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and optimize the use of Appian technology.
  
• Ensure comprehensive documentation throughout the development lifecycle, including design documents, technical specifications, and user manuals.
  
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the Appian development team.
  
• Stay up to date with Appian platform updates, new features, and industry trends, actively sharing knowledge with the team.
  

Requirements

• Strong experience as an Appian Architect, focusing on both the technical and functional aspects of Appian software.
  
• Proficiency in stakeholder engagement, with the ability to understand and translate business requirements into Appian solutions.
  
• Proven leadership skills, with experience in effectively managing and guiding a team of Appian Developers.
  
• In-depth knowledge of Appian development best practices and design patterns.
  
• Solid understanding of BPM technologies and principles.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
  
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Track record of delivering successful Appian projects on time and within budget.
  
• Commitment to high-quality documentation, ensuring accurate and comprehensive technical records.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
  
• Appian Lead Developer certification required.
