Description

Ready to be a part of the company transforming FinTech and how the world accesses banking services?

When was the last time you were excited about interacting with your bank or credit union? If the answer is, “a while,” then you’re in good company. Even though access to better financial choices is at the heart of empowering communities, businesses, and people, financial institutions (FIs) are struggling to keep up with modern expectations.

And that’s where Kinective comes in. We’re here to change the way the world accesses and thinks about banking through software that connects a historically “boring” industry to the latest and greatest fintechs shaping the industry.

Ok... but what does all of that actually mean? Banks and credit unions are using some old-school systems, which make adopting new and innovative technology difficult (if not impossible). If you think it’s easy for your local branch to send you a receipt via text… think again.

Want proof? As the largest provider of software connectivity to 1 in 4 U.S. financial institutions, we are the leading company transforming the way banking is done for credit unions and banks. In fact, Forbes recently released their Best Banks in the World report, and Kinective works with over 60% of their named banks!

Kinective is the connector (get it?) that bridges that technology gap and helps modernize the way banking works. Our ~300 team of mega-talented and passionate folks are brought together with the unifying desire to make life easier (and better) for our clients and ultimately paving the way for banks and credit unions to modernize banking for everyone.

The Cliffs Notes

The Product Manager at Kinective is responsible for overseeing the development and optimization of integration services and software products that enhance the operational capabilities of banks and credit unions. This role focuses on delivering seamless connectivity between business-critical systems and tools, ensuring the modernization and efficiency of service models. The Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps, drive product strategy, and prioritize features that align with customer needs and business objectives.

What you’ll own:

Be the CEO of the Product Line:

  • Become the face for the product line by representing the product line both internally within Kinective and externally with clients and prospective clients
  • Own all aspects of how the product is designed, built, delivered, and positioned in the market
  • Oversee the product line P&L to ensure a successful and healthy product line and advocate for growth opportunities as they arise
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Kinective’s customers to ensure all voices are being heard when developing the product line’s growth strategy

Define the Product and Growth Strategies:

  • Understand product goals for the business and the customer and evaluate how well the product could service these goals and what elements are contributing or detracting factors to product adoption and success
  • Help develop our growth targets for each product and build plans to support how we plan to hit these targets
  • Proactively diagnose problems that are inhibiting growth, identify solutions, and build cases for why / how we should invest in solving - this will include research for market and opportunity sizing
  • Support growth strategy recommendations with vital data, research, and/or experimentation, proactively ensuring these strategies are grounded in thoughtful and strategically relevant insights and/or metrics based on Kinective strategic goals

Understand the Market and Be an Advocate for Customer Needs:

  • Develop a strong pulse on the market and industry through client conversations, following the industry news and trends, and attending industry conferences
  • Uncover opportunities and build roadmaps to better realize the business and customer goals intended for the product.
  • Represent Kinective and your product line at quarterly customer advisory boards and leverage their feedback to improve your product and Kinective’s position in the market
  • Connect with your product line’s client base to understand how they are using your product and how you can improve adoption as well as your product’s net promoter score

Design, Build, and Launch the Best Product:?

  • Demonstrated ability to establish an easy, intuitive means for using our products and services
  • Strong technical ability to grasp how someone performs their job and understand how our client’s usage of products allows them to be highly effective
  • Demonstrated understanding of the lifecycle of a product while working with development and product teams to bring it to life
  • Manage the product through the Launch Process and to ensure alignment across all departments within Kinective
  • Analyze results, develop recommendations for continued optimization, and communicate these findings across the business to continuously be refining our strategy as we scale

What you’re great at:?

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • The ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects to meet various deadlines simultaneously is required
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently is essential
