Job description

Do you want to work with international e-commerce?

MakesYouLocal helps webshops to expand and succeed abroad. Several of our clients are focusing on markets across Europe, including Poland, which is why we are looking for new colleagues to join our Poland team in Vilnius!

In this position, you will play an important part in our clients’ success in the Polish market. Together with the team, you will help the customers with the issues they have, when shopping online.

Our new colleague should have excellent verbal and written skills in Polish, and have a good understanding of Polish customers' mindset, as well as first-hand knowledge of the culture.

What do we expect from our next colleague?

We are looking for people with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help customers. Experience in a relevant field such as e-commerce, customer service, retail, hospitality or similar is a plus, however, the most important thing is a willingness to learn.

Requirements:

  • First and foremost, a deep understanding of Polish customers’ mindsets and first-hand knowledge of the culture.

  • Native-level Polish language skills, good command of written and spoken language.

  • Great customer service skills - you love to help customers!

  • Good computer skills and a willingness to learn new things.

  • Fluency in English.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Customer service (phone, chat, email)

  • Translation of product descriptions, ads, newsletters and other types of webshop texts

  • Social media monitoring on behalf of webshops

  • Providing valuable feedback to clients to optimise the customer experience

Great place to work!

We want to ensure that our employees are happy and flourishing in the company. First of all, we strive to make sure that everybody’s workday includes a variety of tasks. On Fridays, we occasionally enjoy a drink or two, and we are big fans of social events — from sporty activities to great parties. We value a friendly and informal atmosphere, where people thrive and grow together.

We offer
  • Training in e-commerce, our tools, and more — we'll teach you what you need to know to succeed in this role.

  • Career development — we support your growth.

  • Profit share programme — enjoy the fruit of your labour!

  • Hybrid attendance – a lot of us have family far away or perhaps you just want to stay in some days. We trust that you can work remotely once in a while

  • Flexibility — be it a dentist or a sick kid, we understand that sometimes schedules have to change.

  • We offer 5 extra days of holiday in addition to your annual leave to support a healthy work-life balance.

  • Shorter Fridays — take turns with your teammates to start the weekend earlier.

This is a full-time position and you will be working from our office above Panorama Shopping Center. If you can see yourself joining our team, do not hesitate to upload an application with your CV.
