Job Description:

Our team is looking for a Backend Engineer familiar with Python and working with complex distributed systems. We want someone who enjoys helping other team members grow and has a strong focus on customer experience. On the Mobile Platform team, we build foundational architecture widely used by customers and mobile engineers at the organization.

This is a remote-friendly position.

Responsibilities:

• Improve backend infrastructure supporting our mobile product
• Develop and maintain core web apps for a world class cloud platform
• Lead team initiatives for quality and resiliency in our backend services

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of professional software development experience
• Experience with Python and Flask
• Ability to solve problems and think critically on your own
• Enthusiastic and curious in your approach to coding
• Empathy and respect for co-workers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Kotlin / KTOR / JVM backend services
• Experience with Istio or similar service mesh technology
• Experience with Node

Salary Range:

The base salary range for this position is $91,457 - $137,186., plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays.
