Job description

As a Software Quality Testing Associate Manager, you are a detail-oriented and motivated individual who will oversee the quality assurance activities, from planning to execution, across all Supply Chain solutions. In this role, you will lead a team of Quality Engineers, provide thought leadership and coaching to team members, and endeavor to grow and mature the team’s capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining the overall strategy to achieve and maintain desired solution quality across all implementations

  • Manage the optimal blend of manual and automated testing to achieve Tower quality goals

  • Bring in fresh state of the art quality assurance methodologies and modify and apply it to Service Supply Chain processes

  • Design and maintain master test plan that encompasses test strategy for functional and end-to-end testing, test environments, and automation approach

  • Drive quality testing solutions by planning and constructing test scripts through use of quality processes and methodologies for Accenture or its clients

  • Define, track, and publish test metrics, including code coverage, quality, and performance to the team and client

  • Execute testing efforts by delivering application and component releases

  • Work with Testing Team Leads to coordinate and execute regression testing, test automation, performance testing, functionality, and user acceptance testing

  • Determine and meet time estimates and schedules for testing efforts

  • Lead others on the testing team and manage process questions and issues

  • Allocate test resources and guide on priorities to application tests in a multi-test environment and different testing phases

  • Act independently to determine methods and procedures for new assignments

  • Make decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with senior management and adhere to strategic direction provided

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the in software testing operations

  • Minimum of 3 years utilizing Agile and/or Waterfall software development methodologies

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a team manager

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering or related field

Professional Skills Requirements:

  • Experienced in project management to include creating and managing project work plans, identifying and tracking risks and issues, end-to-end project delivery, and status reporting

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
