Junior ML Engineer

Our partner has chosen Bulgaria as its first European location for building an R&D center. They have been continuously pioneering solutions that empower better decisions for insurers, automotive manufacturers, and collision repairers. This is achieved through an advanced cloud-based SaaS platform for digital and data services.

What you’ll do:

• Design, implement, and support scalable multi-tenant data infrastructure solutions to integrate with diverse data sources.
• Aggregate and retrieve data in a fast and secure manner, and curate data for reporting, analysis and ML models.
• Collaborate with engineering and ML teams to extract, transform, and load data from various data sources using SQL/Non-relational and big data technologies.
• Work closely with customers to understand, gather, and analyze their data sources and define/implement an ingestion strategy.

What you bring to the table:

• 1+ years of experience in Software Development, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or related fields.
• Familiarity with SQL/Non-relational databases, data modeling, ETL development using Python, Java, Scala, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with big data technologies (PostgreSQL, Hadoop, Hive, etc.).
• Familiarity with Kafka, Spark Streaming, etc.
