We are looking for a Manager, Product Owner, AI who will join our team.

We are seeking a skilled and visionary Manager, Product Owner to lead the development and management of our AI applications and services. This role blends the foundational responsibilities of a Product Owner with the specialized expertise required to drive the adoption of cutting-edge AI technologies. 

In this role you will:
Vision & Strategy: This role is responsible for defining and communicating a compelling product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives and user needs. This includes conducting market research, gathering user requirements,developing and maintaining a prioritized product roadmap, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment and secure buy-in for the product vision

Requirements & Backlog Management: This role will gather, analyze, and document detailed product requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics. The Manager, Product Owner will prioritize and manage the product backlog ensuring it reflects the highest-value items. This includes collaborating closely with cross–functional teams (engineers, designers, data scientists, business stakeholders) to refine requirements and ensure alignment. The Manager, Product Owner will also facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to explore new product opportunities and gather input from stakeholders.

AI/ML Product Knowledge: This role requires a strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application to product development. The Manager, Product Owner will collaborate with AI/ML Engineers and Data Scientists to define technical requirements and evaluate potential AI/ML solutions. This includes ensuring the product roadmap is technically feasible and aligned with the latest AI/ML advancements, as well as staying informed about emerging AI/ML.

Agile & Delivery : This role will facilitate Agile processes (sprints, reviews, retrospectives) to ensure efficient and effective product delivery. The Manager, Product Owner will track and report on project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure the team stays on track to meet deadlines. This includes collaborating with the development team to address roadblocks and ensure the successful delivery of product features.

Data Analysis & Insights: This role will analyze user feedback, product performance metrics, and market trends to identify areas for improvement. The Manager, Product Owner will track key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data to inform product decisions and prioritize future work. This includes translating insights into actionable product enhancements and new feature ideas.

Stakeholder Management: This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, customers, and cross-functional teams. The Manager, Product owner will communicate product progress, challenges, and successes effectively to all stakeholders. This includes proactively addressing stakeholder concerns and managing expectations. 

What you’ll need to be successful: 
-Bachelors Degree, Computer Science, Engineering, Business
-Desired: Certified Scrum Product Owner, 5+ years of experience in product ownership or product management roles, preferably within the IT industry.

Skills:
-Proven Product Owner Experience : Successful track record as a Product Owner in delivering technology products
-Strong Product Sense : Ability to define and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy
-Excellent communication & collaboration : Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
-Agile Methodologies : Expertise in Agile principles and tolls (Scrum, Kanban, Jira)
-Data-Driven Decision Making : Analyze data and use insights to guide product decisions

The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $121,400.00 - $142,800.00 per year. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.In addition to the determined base salary, this role is also incentive eligible under our corporate bonus programs.For remote roles where the final candidate resides in Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Oregon or Washington, state required pay thresholds will be factored into base salary.
