We are seeking a strategic and experienced product marketer to join us as Senior Product Marketing Manager, Security & Governance. In this role, you will drive the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for Dropbox’s security, compliance, and governance solutions. You’ll play a critical role in positioning Dropbox as a trusted partner for IT and security leaders, crafting compelling messaging, and enabling Sales with the tools they need to win.
You will leverage your expertise in security and compliance markets to develop differentiated positioning, lead 0-1 product launches, and optimize adoption strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of IT and security buyer personas, cross-functional collaboration with Product and Sales teams, and an ability to translate complex security concepts into compelling business value.
Responsibilities
Market & Persona Expertise – Develop deep expertise in security and IT buyer personas, understanding their pain points, regulatory challenges, and decision-making processes.
Develop differentiated positioning – Craft compelling messaging, use cases, demos and business outcomes that clearly articulate Dropbox’s security and content access governance value proposition.
Analyze and optimize performance – Track and analyze pipeline, attach rate, adoption, and retention metrics, sharing actionable insights to improve business outcomes.
Product Launches – Drive 0-1 product launches and new feature rollouts, collaborating closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure strong adoption.
Go-to-Market Strategy - Develop and recommend GTM strategies for Dropbox’s security solutions, including pricing and packaging implications, and target audience segmentation. You will develop a point of view on how security features fit within Dropbox’s multi-product ecosystem and provide recommendations to maximize revenue, adoption, and competitive differentiation.
Sales Enablement – Create high-impact sales enablement assets(e.g., battlecards, pitch decks, FAQs, competitive insights) to help Sales and Customer Success teams engage security-conscious buyers effectively.
Content Strategy & Development – Lead the development of thought leadership content, whitepapers, customer case studies, and solution briefs that reinforce Dropbox’s security expertise.
Market Intelligence - Responsible for analyzing industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and bundling decisions.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, or related roles, ideally in B2B SaaS with a focus on security, compliance, or IT audiences.
Strong understanding of security, compliance, and governance trends, with experience marketing to IT and security decision-makers(e.g., CISOs, IT Managers.
Proven success in 0-1 product launches, driving adoption and market penetration for new solutions.
Exceptional ability to translate technical security concepts into clear, compelling narratives for business and technical audiences.
Experience developing sales enablement materials that drive measurable engagement and revenue impact.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
Analytical mindset, leveraging data to measure performance and optimize marketing strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with SaaS security frameworks, compliance regulations(e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA), or governance best practices.
Experience in both product-led and sales-led go-to-market motions.
Background in fast-paced, high-growth environments, managing multiple priorities.
Compensation
Canada Pay Range
$138,600—$187,500 CAD
