THE ROLE

As a Designer with Shippit, you will participate in creative discussions from the outset and give feedback during planning and strategy meetings. Your responsibilities will span both digital and print, designing assets from social to display, real-world events, and support in the product design space.

In this small and highly motivated team, we love to test, learn, and optimise based on asset performance. You will be working closely with Marketing and Product teams to bring to life campaigns and events.

This opportunity sees you owning how the Shippit brand identity is applied across all touch-points, delivering digital assets (static, video, and HTML) for a range of platforms from social, display advertising, eCommerce, to web

You’ll work alongside experienced Product Marketers, and seasoned Product Designers in a collaborative organisation, to help shape the brand and products used by Shippit customers to revolutionise how people send goods to anyone, anywhere.

DAY TO DAY

Create website assets from design to web animations.
Create email designs for CRM programs and coordinate the creation of email templates in HTML.
Design and develop homepages, landing pages and email concepts.
Assist in web app design of core Shippit features.
Create and execute concepts for digital advertising.
Design physical assets for events, conferences and sales enablement.
Attend weekly online design rituals.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

We pride ourselves on having a team of good humans with great discipline knowledge, or a hunger to learn. For this role you will need to have:

Experience working in a collaborative off-shore team environment.
Be self-sufficient around implementation when designing for the Web (e.g. WordPress knowledge) or email (eg Pardot)
Expertise with standard digital design tools, including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite and a bonus if webflow is in your tool set.
Working knowledge of CSS and HTML.
Photo editing expertise, a plus if you have video experience.
Strong knowledge of current digital design best practices and web production techniques.
Experience with user-centred design.
A good understanding of visual design principles.
Proven digital content skills.
Experience creating digital assets for a variety of target audiences.
Strong portfolio showing the breadth of design capabilities.
