Junior Project Manager 

 

Bottomline is seeking a Project Manager to work within our Project Office, with the role typically split between the Theale office and option to work from home.  

The focus of this role will be project managing the delivery and adoption of Bottomline solutions for key high value customers. 

Dealing with 30-40 projects at one time that at least 3 months , managing customer expectations and project requirements while provide customer service.  

Responsibilities 

  • Leading the planning and delivery of customer projects, with ultimate responsibility for time, cost and quality. 
  • Facilitating the definition of the project scope, goals and deliverables. 
  • Implementing best practices, techniques, and tools for project planning, management etc. 
  • Proactively offering customers domain and subject matter expertise. 
  • Maintaining customer interaction and management, with sponsors, stakeholders and users. 
  • Generating customer facing documentation including project plans, and all associated management records. 
  • Providing timely and accurate internal status reports. 
  • Providing support to the Presales team. 
  • Forecasting and delivering against financial targets, aligned to project deliverables. 
  • Building and maintaining an excellent level of knowledge of Bottomline solutions and the business problems that they solve. 
  • Participating in new product take-on and roll-out programmes; contributing to the project management, documentation, technical knowledge base and training of team members. 

Skills & Experience 

  • Experience in a Project Management or consultancy role. 
  • A qualification and working knowledge of Agile, PRINCE2, or similar. 
  • A proven track record of managing high value projects to conclusion whilst managing stakeholders  
  • Aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving. 
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills. 
  • A responsible attitude. 
  • Well organised. 
  • Good 'people skills' for building relationships with colleagues and customers at all levels. 
  • Calmness under pressure. 
  • The ability to motivate people. 
  • Good commercial awareness.
