What You’ll Do:

As our Account Specialist, you'll be in a hybrid role, contributing in two very important ways; sales operations and account management. You will be responsible for helping to support the administrative and operational needs of the sales team while assisting with client-facing support tasks.

Every day will look a little different, but in general, you will do things like:

  • Support Account Management & Operations: You'll be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative and operational support to the account management and sales teams.

  • Monitor & Update Key Sales Information: You'll partner with other members of the sales team to maintain and update internal systems with accurate account information, contracts, and campaign details, as well as manage account-related documentation, including contracts and billing information.

  • Support the Creation of Materials: You'll assist in the creation and preparation of world-class client-facing materials such as proposals, performance reports, and presentations.

  • Collaborate on Campaigns: You'll work cross-functionally with other Blockworks teams (Podcasts, Events, Research, etc.) to Monitor campaign progress, compile performance data for internal and external stakeholders, and ensure campaign deliverables are met.

  • Support Team Operations & Innovation: You'll play a key role in helping to identify new areas to streamline operations and introduce innovation to the sales team, including supporting the implementation and improvement of internal tools and processes.

Experimentation is frequent at Blockworks. Comfortability with being uncomfortable is a must.

What You’ve Done Before:

You're a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with 1-2 years of professional experience in sales operations, account management, or a similar sales support role. You're a master at organizing even the most complex of projects and thrive when you have the opportunity to manage multiple projects at once. You're analytical and love to leverage data in helping to shape your recommendations and approaches.

You've got a solid grasp of foundational sales workflows, campaign management, and how to support client-facing teams, and you're excited by the opportunity to learn a few new ways of working. You're as at home working individually as you are working on a team, and you pride yourself on your ability to communicate effectively while building authentic relationships. Lastly, you're proactive in how you approach your work, problem-solving, and improving processes.

It’d Be Great If You’ve Done This

If you've had experience supporting sales or account management teams in media, advertising, crypto, or partnership-driven environments, we want to hear about it. Candidates with a strong proficiency in tools like CRM software, spreadsheets, and project management platforms may stand out from the pack. Having familiarity and demonstrated success with sponsorships, campaign execution, or working on digital & event-based projects is highly desirable. Lastly, if you've contributed to process improvements, streamlined administrative workflows, or assisted in client communication, we want to hear about the results that you've created.

Salary, Benefits, & How We Work:

This is a full time exempt position with an expected salary of $75,000/year.
