You should be comfortable with change, taking initiative, managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and navigating complex regulatory landscapes while driving product development that meets both customer needs and business goals.

What you’ll do...

  • Lead the development and execution for interoperability across the platforms, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory objectives.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design, build, and scale interoperable solutions that meet industry standards such as EDI, X12, HIPAA 5010, 270/271, 278, 837, FHIR, HL7, DaVinci PDex, etc.

  • Ensure product solutions adhere to all relevant regulations, including CMS guidelines, 21st Century Cures Act, 0057-F, and other government-sponsored interoperability mandates.

  • Work closely with business leaders, technology teams, and external partners to define technical requirements and create a roadmap for interoperability initiatives.

  • Be the subject matter expert (SME) on FHIR, HL7, EDI transactions, and other healthcare standards.

  • Continuously monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor innovations to ensure that the company’s interoperability offerings remain competitive and up to date.

About you...
  • 5+ years in Product Management, or similar role within high-volume healthcare interoperability sectors.

  • At least 3 years of experience working specifically in the Interoperability space, with a focus on healthcare solutions.

  • Experience in a technical role (ideal but not required). Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable product strategies.

  • Experience with healthcare organizations focused on benefits validation and utilization

  • Familiarity with PBMs (Pharmacy Benefit Managers), claims administration platforms (CAPS), and Benefit Managers (non-population health) is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of CMS, Medicare/Medicaid, and associated interoperability obligations such as 0057-F, EDI, X12, HIPAA 5010, 270/271, 278, 837, and FHIR.

  • Understanding of the 21st Century Cures Act, TEFCA, and other key regulatory initiatives impacting interoperability.

  • Strong understanding of FHIR, HL7, DaVinci PDex (Payer/Patient), and EDI standards.

  • Familiarity with healthcare standards for claims and transactions, such as 270/271, 837, 278.

  • Proficiency in data exchange protocols, such as X12, HIPAA, and others.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Healthcare, Engineering, Business, etc.).

  • Advanced degrees or certifications in Health Informatics, Healthcare Technology, or related areas are a plus.

  • Ideally experience with government-sponsored programs (Medicare/Medicaid).

  • Previous experience in product leadership within health tech or interoperability functions.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
