This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for:
Build, develop, and maintain internal data cubes/schemas (relational and nonrelational databases), data architecture, reporting systems, and data automation for Digital Analytics.
Ensure effective ETL processes for large datasets and oversee the back-end design and delivery of analytical reports and insights.
Assist in data discovery, data mapping, and data testing within Hadoop and various source systems.
Manage and maintain ETL processes developed using SQL and deployed in a Linux environment.
Collaborate with analysts and data engineers from other teams to fulfill ad hoc data requests from stakeholders.
Work with different departments to understand various source systems (e.g., Salesforce, BI, Marketo) and optimize joint development efforts in enriching Hadoop's database.
Perform business analysis for specified tasks and datasets.
Work closely with other Digital Analytics team members to optimize the company’s data systems and pipeline architecture, achieving greater efficiency across all company data systems
Desired Qualifications:
Strong SQL background (MySQL, Hive, Impala, etc.), with the ability to perform effective queries involving multiple tables and subqueries across various data systems.
Experience in generating and maintaining ETL scripts (automated and ad hoc) using SQL and Linux platforms.
Experience in supporting and monitoring ETL workflows, including those created by other developers.
Understanding of various data structures and common methods in data transformation.
Possess a "can-do attitude" and willingness to expand knowledge in data science/analytics.
Experience working in fast-paced environment.
At least 3 years of related experience in SQL and Linux platforms
Nice to have
Knowledge in Cloudera Hadoop Ecosystem and Oozie
Experience in Python
Knowledge in ETL Cloud tools and Platforms (Snowflake etc.)
Experience working closely with analysts and business stakeholders.
General knowledge of handling and fixing issues in production environments (Linux).
Experience working across different time zones (able to work on a shifting schedule).
