Job Description

THE POSITION:

The Director of PMO is responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. There is a strong emphasis on estimation and scope definition, partnering with Business Development, PS Solutions and Customer Service Leads to ensure that the project scope is clear, written, and that roles, cost is also clear as well as forecasting. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives with organizational goals and provide leadership in the areas of risk management, resource allocation, and performance optimization.

Partner with Senior Director, Project Manager to be a strategic leader shaping the future of project delivery including drafting processes and getting buy in and socializing throughout Patient Services.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership

  • Establish best practices and standards for project estimation, scope management.
  • Help promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Estimation and Scope Definition

  • Develop frameworks and methodologies for accurate project estimations, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Lead the creation and refinement of scope definition processes, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and project objectives.
  • Implement tools and techniques to improve the accuracy and consistency of project forecasts.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to ensure clear scope documentation and consensus.

Governance and Oversight

  • Establish project governance structures to monitor and control scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
  • Provide oversight of project portfolios, ensuring risks and deviations are promptly identified and addressed.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate project estimation accuracy and PMO effectiveness.

Team Leadership

  • Act as a champion for project management best practices across the organization.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, and constraints.
  • Provide clear and consistent communication on project performance, risks, and opportunities.

Technology and Tools

  • Implement project management tools to improve estimation and planning capabilities.
  • Drive the adoption of technology that supports data-driven decision-making and enhances PMO operations.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.

EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • College graduate
  • Clear, concise communicator
  • Cross functional team player
  • Understanding of D365, Smartsheet, Power BI
  • PMO best practices
  • Knowledge of Pharmacy systems, best practices, industry
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of SalesForce
  • PMI certified
  • Basic understanding of project burn and financials

Office: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.

“EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $148,000 to $160,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S.  The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position.  Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living).  EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.”
