Job description

       

Hi, I'm Rita Dias, your Recruiter and guide to joining CSG! We are excited to learn more about you and your unique background.

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer Engineer with excellent troubleshooting skills to support our teams working on Quote and Order. Responsible for troubleshooting, designing, analyzing, writing code, modifying, and debugging CSG products.

What you will be doing:

  • Design, analyze, write code, modify, and debug CSG product applications such as, but not limited to, .Net applications, Java, and Assembler.

  • Analyze and perform bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products.

  • You may assist in performing on-site client work on complex applications.

  • Provide QA support as needed.

  • Engage in cross-team activities ensuring completion of projects on schedule.

  • Leverage CSG’s source control best practices for tools and configuration items created or modified.

  • Create and maintain both customer and technical documentation for tools and processes created or modified.

  • Provide customer support for existing and new monitoring infrastructure.

  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.

  • Incumbent is accountable for professional working behavior including building and maintaining constructive working relationships, implementing proactive and concise communication, acting as a resource to colleagues, and engaging in collaborative thinking and problem-solving while demonstrating CSG’s core competencies and values.

You should have:

  • 2–4 years of experience in technical support or a similar role.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for systems, applications, and integrations.

  • Proficiency in Java for debugging and issue resolution.

  • Familiarity with GitHub for version control and code repository management.

  • Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines and automation.

  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.

  • Familiarity with Kafka for distributed messaging and event streaming.

  • Strong knowledge of APIs, SQL, or scripting (a plus).

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

  • Experience with root cause analysis and documenting solutions
